1. New Leaders for TVG

Having led the partnership for the last six years, Mike Kendrick has recently retired from the chairmanship of TVG.

During his tenure, Mike was responsible for bringing together all the transportation disciplines to produce the integrated suites of National Transportation Qualifications at levels 3, 4 & 5 that were published last year.

Mike is succeeded as TVG chairman by Terry Mulroy, head of Transportation Planning (International). In his tribute to Mike, Terry said: "Mike has been a great leader of TVG. He has ensured that TVG's current qualifications reflect the needs of a world class transport community."

Terry is supported by Phil Moore, TVG's first deputy chairman. Phil is a road safety expert who takes up a new post in November as head of highways at Medway Council. Terry and Phil were founder members of TVG, and together they form a strong leadership alliance to take TVG forward.

2. New TVG leaflets published

A new suite of leaflets publicising the National Transportation Qualifications is now available. There are four A5 size leaflets which are becoming popular with candidates and employers. A pdf version of the text is given below:

Printing out the pdf file on A4 paper will result in a version that is smaller than the original leaflet. If you wish to print copies then A3 paper is recommended. Print the two pages back to back and then fold into three parts.
